Marmalade has brought together in one place, the concept of "Vibe Dining" (Eating, drinking, music and people). We feel that this is what we have achieved and that this is what you will feel when you enter our doors.

Marmalade, the new bigger sister of the now famous “Milk Bar & Bistro” would be better recognized by its nome de plume “Muebles Navarro”. This beautiful space is split into four distinct areas and nods its head to its 50 years as a furniture store, with beautiful chesterfield sofas, Queen Anne style chairs, hand carved black matte billiard table, copper clad antique walls and of course the four meter tall chrome art deco bar back. This has given Marmalade a swinging 1950’s Havana/New York edge. Colour, material, and light draw you in and help you slip from the outside world.

Our Head Chef has created a wonderful International menu combining flavours from his tenures in restaurants across Asia, Europe and the Americas, using locally selected produce purchased daily from the Boqueria market . The menu changes seasonally. Dining is both casual and fun with many of the plates to be shared amongst our dining guests.

Every Saturday and Sunday we serve American style brunch (10.00 – 16.00) which has been embraced by both locals and tourists. Not to be missed.

Marmalade has a significant cocktail list with legendary cocktails starting from €5.00. Staff creates fabulous original concoctions with great flavours and names such as the “Red Chile Mango Margarita” and the “Marmalade Cooler” which is made with Cava, orange liquor, marmalade, pink grapefruit and sweet & sour. Ease yourself into one of the elegant sofas and order up the “La Leche” made with a jolt of Spanish coffee to keep you going through the night.

Laidback house and lounge music, easygoing friendly service and at times a humorous attention to detail all help to create the sense of a bar and restaurant that’s cool without ever trying too hard; instead there’s the sense of a single vision that has come together beautifully to create somewhere with real character. The element that makes Marmalade a place overflowing with personality is that all the items of décor have been specially designed and constructed for the space. Thanks to an imaginative effort to seek innovative materials, elements and colours, Marmalade has succeeded in bringing the past and future into the present.

We have a warm, professional and cosmopolitan wait staff. Catalans and foreigners are waited upon attentively at the tables and even when the house is full there is always someone in attendance, since service is the philosophy underlying this bar and restaurant. The clientele pick up momentum as night descends. The staff also has a great knowledge of Barcelona and its hidden treasures, so be sure to ask what is on offer. It is truly a great meeting place to start an unforgettable vacation in a city that is second to none.

Marmalade is a magnificent space that’s both grand (300 sqm & 4.5 meter tall ceilings) yet intimate with four separate seating areas. Providing an upscale backdrop for virtually all types of events. Conveniently located 5 minutes from Las Ramblas and with a privileged location above the top of La Rambla del Raval; this space can accommodate up to 225 guests for cocktails and small plates and 120 guests for seated dinner.

Marmalades star has truly risen and it has become one of the neighborhoods’ hottest spots. It is a reference point for any visit to Barcelona.
